Draft Amendments to Kahnawà:ke Residency Law posted for 30-Day Feedback Period

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission wishes to advise the community that draft amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law are now posted for viewing on the Community Decision Making Review Process website or by clicking here and has now entered the 30-day Feedback Period. The feedback period will be concluded on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

The community will be notified when the First Hearing has been scheduled to review the feedback and proposed amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law. The Record of Discussion from the February 4, 2026, Community Mandate Meeting is available for viewing at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com.
