How the process works

The Community Decision-Making Process consists of three (3) phases and is carried out as follows:

          Phase I: Information Dissemination
          Community/Stakeholder Consultation
          Community Hearing
          Legislative Session

          Phase II: Planning/Development/Deliberation
          1st Reading
          Legislative Session

          2nd Reading
          Legislative Session

          3rd Reading
          Legislative Session

          Phase III: Enactment
          Community Enactment
          Legislative Session

** The Community Decision-Making Process will evolve over time. Revisions will occur as we learn through experience, as well as through an annual evaluation process.
