Community Engagement Sessions for Kahnawà:ke Residency Law

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission wishes to advise the community that several events will be held regarding the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law:

• K1037's Tetewatharen Talkshow on Thursday, May 1, 2025, featuring Portfolio lead, Ratsénhaienhs Jeremiah Johnson
• Community Information Kiosks will be available in the lobby of the Service Complex from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, April 29th, and Friday, May 2nd. Community members can seek information and ask questions in an informal, respectful, one-on-one setting, while also signing up for the Focus Groups to review the amendment areas of the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law
• Focus Groups will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, and Wednesday, May 7th, with tentative further dates on May 13th and May 14th

The kiosks will have sign-up sheets for the focus groups, and community members can also RSVP to Samantha Montour either by phone at 450-632-0500 or by email at samantha.montour@mck.ca prior to the meetings.
