30-day feedback period begins for Administrative Tribunal Regulation

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission (KLC) wishes to advise the community that an updated draft Regulation Respecting Disciplinary Measures for Decision-makers Appointed to the Administrative Tribunal, pursuant to the Kahnawà:ke Justice Act, is now available for the mandatory thirty (30) day Feedback Period.

This is the second thirty (30) day Feedback Period for this Regulation. It previously underwent a thirty (30) day Feedback Period in February 2023, but enactment was delayed pending further review. The revised draft considers feedback from a focus group and emphasizes the investigative nature of the process for addressing complaints against Decision-makers.

The draft Regulation will be available for a thirty (30) day Feedback Period beginning today and ending on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
